Mumbai (Bombay) situated on the island of the west coast, capital of Maharashtra state. In 1534 it was ceded to the Portuguese, in 1661 British gained control of Mumbai and until 1858 it was the Headquaters of British East India Company. Mumbai is Cultural, Educational, Trade and Financial centre.
The capital of Maharashtra is facing many problems from water to slums, but why these problems in this metro city. Many of my friends had a very long discussion on this and to name some few are migration and land sharks and to top it cleanliness of the city.
So we decided to start this blog, to know your inputs how we can make this city free from migrations and how we can make this city clean and green. Many of my friends in frustrattion said that it was better in the British Rule.
